These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the BelieveBehaveBecome mobile application and the services we provide through it (together, the "Service"). The Service is operated by StrategyX ("we", "us", "our"). Please read these Terms carefully — by using the Service you agree to them.
1. Acceptance of these Terms
By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility and your account
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the Service. By using the Service you confirm that you are 18 or older.
- You may register with an email address and password, or sign in with your Google or Apple account.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the information on your account and for keeping your password and devices secure.
- You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has accessed it.
- You may sign out of individual devices at any time from your account settings; doing so revokes that device's access immediately.
3. Your content
The Service exists to hold information you choose to put into it: goals, actions and subtasks, check-ins and comments, financial transactions and budgets, and your profile details. We call all of this "your content".
- Your content remains yours. We do not claim ownership of it.
- You grant us a limited licence to store, process, back up and display your content solely in order to operate the Service for you and for the people you have chosen to share with.
- You are responsible for the legality and accuracy of your content, and for having the right to submit it.
4. Sharing and connections
You may connect with other users and share individual goals, actions or other items with connections you have accepted. Sharing is explicit and item-by-item: nothing is shared until you add someone to that item, and you can remove them again at any time.
- People you share an item with can view it. Only you and the people you have given a role on an item (for example an assignee or approver) can change it.
- Users you are connected to can see limited public profile information — such as your name and profile photo — so they can recognise you.
- Removing someone from an item stops their future access, but it does not undo anything they already saw. Only share what you are comfortable sharing.
- Where an item repeats on a schedule, the people you share the series with are carried over to each occurrence unless you change that occurrence individually.
5. Acceptable use
When using the Service, you agree not to:
- break any applicable law, or infringe anyone else's rights;
- upload content that is unlawful, abusive, harassing, hateful, deceptive, or that contains malware;
- impersonate another person, or send connection requests or messages in bulk or without invitation;
- attempt to access accounts, data or systems that are not yours, or probe, scan or test the security of the Service;
- interfere with or place an unreasonable load on the Service, including by automated scraping or excessive requests;
- reverse engineer the Service, or use it to build a competing product, except where the law expressly allows it.
6. Financial features
The Service lets you record transactions and set budgets so you can track your own money. It is a record-keeping and planning tool only. We do not provide financial, investment, tax or legal advice, we do not move money, and we are not a bank, payment institution or financial adviser. Decisions you take on the basis of information in the Service are yours alone. Please consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions.
7. AI-assisted features
Some features use third-party artificial intelligence services to help you draft goals and suggested actions from a short description you provide. AI-generated suggestions can be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable for your situation. They are starting points for you to review and edit — always check them before relying on them. You remain responsible for the content you keep in your account, whether you wrote it or generated it.
8. Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties to work — including cloud hosting and storage, Google and Apple for optional sign-in, push notification delivery, email delivery, and an AI provider for the features described above. Their handling of data is described in our Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control, and their availability may affect parts of the Service.
9. Availability and changes to the Service
We work to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may add, change, suspend or discontinue features, and we may carry out maintenance that makes the Service temporarily unavailable. Where a change materially reduces functionality you rely on, we will give reasonable notice where we can.
10. Suspension and termination
- You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from within the app.
- Deleting your account immediately revokes access from every device and takes your content out of the Service; the underlying records are then erased in line with the retention periods set out in the Privacy Policy. Deletion cannot be undone — save anything you want to keep first.
- We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, if we are required to by law, or if your use puts the Service or other users at risk. Where it is reasonable and lawful to do so, we will tell you why.
11. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure against every threat, or that any content — including reminders and notifications — will be delivered on time or at all. The Service is not a substitute for medical, financial, legal or other professional advice.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, or loss or corruption of data, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, or AUD 50.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, you keep all mandatory rights your local law gives you.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages and reasonable costs arising from your content, your use of the Service in breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right. This does not apply to the extent the claim results from our own breach or negligence.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time — for example when we add features or when the law changes. The current version is always available at this page, with its effective date at the top. If a change is material we will give reasonable notice, in the app or by email, before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that date means you accept the updated Terms.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and the courts of New South Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except where mandatory consumer law entitles you to bring proceedings in your country of residence.
16. General
- These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
- If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force.
- If we do not enforce a provision straight away, we do not waive our right to enforce it later.
- You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent. We may transfer ours as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, on notice to you.
